A pioneering AI company is seeking a Research Scientist to help develop sophisticated multi-agent systems that enhance human capabilities in complex tasks.

Backed by substantial funding and led by an exceptional founding team, they're developing advanced AI agent architectures incorporating multi-agent reinforcement learning, environment navigation, decision-making systems, LLM agents, planning, and memory frameworks.

As a Research Scientist specializing in reinforcement learning and multi-agent systems, you'll join at a pivotal time as they scale to over 100 team members. You'll work on:

• Advancing multi-agent reinforcement learning systems
• Developing novel approaches to agent coordination
• Designing sophisticated planning and memory architectures
• Contributing to the development of proprietary large language models
• Ensuring safety and reliability in agent systems

Requirements:

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
• Strong publication record in reinforcement learning and multi-agent systems
• Experience with large language models and agent architectures
• Track record of novel contributions to AI safety and reliability
• Expertise in designing and implementing complex AI systems

The role offers flexibility with remote work options in EU time zones (East Coast US also considered) or the opportunity to work from their London office.

The package reflects the senior nature of the role, with base salaries ranging from £150,000 to £275,000 (negotiable for industry-leading researchers), plus competitive equity and comprehensive benefits.
