You'll come on board as they expand their research capabilities in multi-lingual AI, training their solution on many different languages. You'll work closely with lead researchers, explore the latest approaches in natural language processing and generation, applying cutting-edge papers and running experiments. The team implements papers published within weeks, demonstrating commitment to staying at the forefront of AI research. They are also publishing their own papers.

Your impact will be immediate and substantial. You'll be tackling complex challenges in areas such as:

• Developing AI that understands cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions across languages
• Creating systems that transcend simple translation to achieve genuine cross-cultural understanding
• Pushing the boundaries of what's possible in natural language processing and generation

You should have solid research experience, ideally through a PhD, fresh PhDs are considered or those with industry experience in research-intensive roles. Proficiency in implementing research papers and writing high-quality code is essential. Publications as a first author in relevant fields are highly desirable.

Key skills and experience we're looking for include:

• Expertise in natural language processing and computational linguistics
• Strong background in machine learning, particularly with Transformers, LLMs, and multimodal models
• Experience with large-scale ML systems, GPUs, and distributed computing
• Familiarity with PyTorch, Kubernetes, and high-performance computing environments

This is a hybrid position in Seoul. They offer a flexible work environment that encourages innovation and collaboration. If you're not based there but would like to relocate, visa support and relocation support can be provided. Remote is considered for exceptional candidate. 

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $150,000, depending on experience. As an early employee, you'll also receive generous stock.
